This is a quetzal... a famous bird of central america that people from all over the world travel to see. I took this pick right out side our house.
Today we hiked from Cerro de la Muerte back to our valley. It was about 11000 ft high and you can see the valley if you look at the farm grooves on the right...

This is the resort in Montelimar, Nicaragua that we stayed at.
The school has very little funding and even has to conduct some classes outside.
This is our clinic at the high school...
aThis is one of the patients we provided dental care for. We saw a total of 150 students from a High School in San Marcos, Nicaragua.
Best thing about Nicaragua is that you will never miss a world cup game, because all the public transportation plays the game!
First day in Nicaragua we walked into a group of howler monkeys
